Roberta Mantegna Leads Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s ‘Luisa Miller’ Stream

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has announced its will stream Verdi’s “Luisa Miller.”

The opera will be streamed on April 20 on the company’s Operaroma.tv, the official YouTube page, and on Rai Radio3.

Michele Mariotti will conduct the work which is set to star Roberta Mantegna in the title role, Michele Pertusi as Conte di Walter, Antonio Poli as Rodolfo, Daniela Barcellona as Federica, Nahuel Di Pierro as Wurm, and Roberto Frontali as Miller. The cast will be rounded by artists from “Fabbrica” Young Artist Program from the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

The company also announced that the Mariotti will conduct a concert on April 28 which is set to be streamed on Rai Radio 3. The program will include ballet music by Giuseppe Verdi from “Macbeth,” “Don Carlos,” “Otello,” and “Les vêpres siciliennes.”

Over the past months, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has streamed “I Puritani” and a Brahms concert, among others.
