By Francisco Salazar

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma continues its streaming series on Jan. 12 with “Vi Piace Brahms?”

The concert, which will be streamed on the Italian company’s YouTube page and performed without an audience, will be conducted by Roberto Gabbiani and feature the chorus from the Opera di Roma. Enrica Ruggiero and Marco Forgione will accompany on the piano.

The concert will feature Brahms’ Liebeslieder-Walzer, Sechs Quartette op. 112, and Neue Liebeslieder-Walzer op. 65.

Audiences can watch the stream for free with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma asking for a voluntary contribution to its “I love Roma Opera aperta” fundraising campaign.

The company recently kicked off its 2020-21 season with a streamed production of “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” and will continue its streaming programming on Jan. 16 with Danza alla Nuvola Vivaldi Suite.
