The RegioYoung’s 2022-2023 is set to open with “Cartoons! Un Concerto da Brividi.”

The production will be staged at the Ridotto of the Teatro Regio di Parma on Oct. 29 and will be dedicated to the children, schools, and families. The work is produced by Parma Frontiere and will showcase famous soundtracks from animated films arranged in a jazz key, to explore new places through images, sounds, rhythms, and instruments.

Director and narrator Sabina Borelli will lead the production with a quintet composed of Diletta Longhi (voice), Matteo Valentini (saxophone), Francesco Cannito (piano) Giancarlo Patris (double bass), and Benedetta Rositano (drums).

This season RegioYoung is set to present Opera Mena 9, “Il Libro della Giungla,” “Va’, Peppino,” Il Matrimonio Segreto” and “The Magic Flute.”
