Carmela Remigio, Gregory Kunde & Maria Teresa Leva Lead Teatro Regio di Parma’s 2022-23 Season

Operas
Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” is set to be presented in Mario Martone’s production as directed by Raffele Di Florio. Corrado Ravaris conducts a cast that includes Vito Priante (Don Giovanni), Mariangela Sicilia (Donna Anna), Marco Ciaponi (Don Ottavio), Giacomo Prestia (Il Commendatore), Carmela Remigio (Donna Elvira), Riccardo Fassi (Leporello), Fabio Previati (Masetto), and Enkeleda Kamani (Zerlina).
Performance Dates: Jan. 12-19, 2023
Cimarosa’s “Il matrimonio segreto” will be directed by Roberto Catalano and conducted by Davide Levi. The cast includes Giulia Mazzola, Veronika Seghers, Antonio Mandrillo, Bekir Serbest, Claire Gascoin, Maria Gaudenzi, Francesco Leone, Ignas Melnikas, Eleonora Nota, Marilena Ruta, Jan Antem, and Ramiro Maturana.
Performance Dates: Feb. 10-19, 2023
Cilea’s “Adriana Lecouvreur” will be directed by Italo Nunziata and conducted by Francesco Ivan Ciampa. The opera will star Roberto Aronica, Azer Zada, Claudio Sgura, Maria Teresa Leva and Sonia Ganassi.
Performance Dates: March 24-31, 2023
The season closes with a double bill of Stravinsky’s “Les Noces” and Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci.” Andrea Battistoni conducts the Stravinsky opera in concert with Yulia Tkachenko, Veta Pilipenko, Vasyl Solodkyy, and Allen Boxer.
“Pagliacci” will be performed in a production by Franco Zeffirelli with Valeria Sepe (Nedda), Gregory Kunde (Canio), Vladimir Stoyanov (Tonio), Matteo Mezzaro (Peppe), and Alessandro Luongo (Silvio).
