Regina Opera to Showcase ‘La Bohème’

Regina Opera will open its 56th season with Puccini’s “La Bohème” this November.

The production, which runs from Nov. 15- 23, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn, will be conducted by Scott Jackson Wiley and directed by Sabrina Palladino.

Rotating casts feature Rachel Hippert, Audrey DuBois Harris, and Sara Beth Pearson as Mimì; Jax Hassler, Christopher Trapani, and David Freides as Rodolfo; Seoyong Lee, Handong Fu, and Eliam Ramos Fuentes as Marcello; and Anna Aistova, Tate Chu, and Jennifer Moore as Musetta. The ensemble also includes Keunwon Park and Samuel Roth as Schaunard, Marc Cioffi, Ian Joyal, and Gennadiy Vysotskiy as Colline, and alternating artists in the supporting roles.

Free open dress rehearsals will take place on Nov. 8 (piano) and Nov. 10 & 13 (orchestra).

The company continues its season with “Suor Angelica” and concert programs in February/March 2026 and “Carmen” in May 2026.
