Regina Opera to Present ‘Tosca’

Regina Opera is set to present Puccini’s “Tosca” from Nov. 16 to Nov. 23 for four performances.

The opera will showcase three cases led by Tara Jamshadian, Audrey DuBois Harris, and Sara Beth Pearson in the title role. They will be joined by Jax Hassler, Christopher Trapani, and Paolo Buffagni as Cavaradossi and Joseph Gansert, Eliam Ramos, and Peter Hakjoon Kim as Scarpia.

The cast will be rounded out by Richard Agster, Robert Garner, Gennadiy Vysotskiy, Gary Giardina, John Schenkel, Gennadiy Vysotskiy, Troy Freeman, Ethan Ellis, Thibault Courtois, Elijah John-Burnley, Henry Horstmann, and Daniel Chiu.

Regina Opera’s mission is to encourage music lovers on a limited budget to attend high-quality operas and concerts by offering ticket prices much lower than those of New York City’s major opera houses. This season the company will also present “La Traviata” and “I Pagliacci.”
