For those who will not be attending the Rossini Opera Festival, Rai Radio 3 will present the premiere of “Ricciardo e Zoraide,” “Adina,” and “Il Barbiere di Siviglia.”

The radio station will first present “Ricciardo e Zoraide” on August 11 at 8 p.m. local time with Juan Diego Flórez, Pretty Yende, and Sergey Romanovsky and “Adina” on August 12 at 8 p.m. starring Lisette Oropesa and Levy Sekgapane. The final broadcast will be on August 13 for “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” starring Maxim Mironov, Davide Luciano, and Aya Wakizono.

Rai 5 will also present a cycle of four Rossini operas including “Ricciardo e Zoraide,” which will be presented on August 30.

The festival is set to open on August 11 and will also present a number of concerts as well as “Il Viaggio a Reims.” The festival closes on August 23.
