Plácido Domingo is set to return to Mexico in 2022 to offer concerts in February.

The famed singer will sing at a concert on Feb. 1 in the Arena Monterrey and on Feb. 4 at the Arena Ciudad de México. He will be accompanied by the Orquesta Filarmónica del Desierto.

The last time Domingo performed in México was in February 2009 at the Estadio 3 in Guadalajara at the concert “Plácido en el alma.” He was accompanied by Juanes and Andrés Calamaro during the concert.

Domingo recently took the stage at the Teatro alla Scala and is set to perform at the Teatro Massimi di Palermo in 2022 for performances of “Simon Boccanegra.” He will also return to Paris for a concert performance of “I Due Foscari.”
