Sphinx Virtuosi will present “American Dialogues” at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage on Oct. 16, 2026.

The showcase, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m., will feature mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges, who will join the ensemble for the New York premiere of Damien Geter’s “Declaration,” which was co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall.

The program will honor the 250th anniversary of the United States and includes Jessie Montgomery’s “Banner,” Igor Stravinsky’s “Concerto in D,” the “Blues” movement from Maurice Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2, and selections from Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s “Blue/s Forms.” Additionally, composer Rachel McFarlane will open the program with a new work.

This program is also set to open the Ana H. Wang Concert series on Oct. 24, 2026.
