The Bayerische Staatsoper has announced that Plácido Domingo will replace Anja Harteros in an upcoming recital.

The company said that Domingo will be joined by Jennifer Rowley and will perform during the Munich festival on July 13, 2023.

This is the latest cancelation for Harteros, who recently canceled her participation in the company’s “Tristan und Isolde.” She also canceled her participation in the Staatstheater Wiesbaden festival and was replaced by Magdalena Anna Hofmann.

Domingo and Rowely recently performed together at a Palm Beach concert, as well as a Versailles Gala, which was recently released on DVD.

Domingo next performs in Monte-Carlo followed by performances in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, El Salvador, and Salzburg.
