Plácido Domingo Celebrates Spain’s Euro Cup Victory

Plácido Domingo celebrated Spain’s Euro Cup victory by watching the game at Olympiastadion Berlin, Germany.

The singer took to social media posing with the prestigious trophy, and said, “Long live Spain ! Majistral our red Selección Española de Fútbol (SeFutbol)! Congrats guys! What a privilege to have enjoyed and shared in your well-deserved victory. Thank you.”

For years, Domingo has been a huge football fan attending several high-profile games including the 2010 World Cup final where Spain won their first World Cup.

He has also performed at numerous World Cup events including the 2018 Russia World Cup and the famed 1990 World Cup where he sang alongside Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.
