The Polish National Opera has announced that Piotr Beczala will return in March for a solo recital.

The company revealed that the tenor will perform on the stage of the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw on March 17 in a showcase that also features the Chorus and Orchestra of the Polish National Opera under Łukasz Borowicz.

The program will be comprised of arias from Giordano’s “Andrea Chénier,” Żeleński’s “Janek,” Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana,” Moniuszko’s “Halka” and “The Haunted Manor,” Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut,” Nowowiejski’s “The Legend of the Baltic,” and Puccini’s “Turandot.”

The recital concert marks the tenor’s return to the Polish National Opera following performances of “Werther” last fall. He recently appeared at the Wiener Staatsoper in “Carmen,” “Werther,” and “Der Rosenkavalier” livestreams.

Audiences can buy tickets for the concert starting March 10, 2021.
