Pike Opera is set to present “Opera! Pike! Park!” on August 27, 2023.

The showcase, which features singers from the Academy of Vocal Arts, is set to kick off at 4 p.m. at Ann Street Park in Milford Borough, PA. Artists include Emily Margevich, Angel Gomez, Benjamin Dickerson, and Matthew Goodheart.

The program will include excerpts from “La Traviata,” “Don Giovanni,” “Call me Madam,” “West Side Story,” “La Bohème,” “L’Italiana in Algeri,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “La Fille du Régiment,” and “The Merry Widow,” among others.

“From our modest beginning in 2019, Opera! Pike! Park! has grown and we expect this year’s event to be the largest yet,” said Xavier Morales, the event’s founder and director. “Pike Opera, Inc., is also now an independent 501-c-3 organization with exciting plans for the future.”

Given the nature of the free event, the company encourages audience members to bring blankets, snacks, and beverages.
