The Pacific Chorale will present its much anticipated original film concert “The Wayfaring Stranger Project” on PBS SoCal on Dec. 17 at 8 pm and on KCET on Dec. 22 at 8 pm.

The work was crafted and will be conducted by the chorale’s Artistic Director Robert Istad. The multi-media project is comprised of music by J.S. Bach, Moira Smiley, Dolly Parton, Samuel Barber, and Randall Thompson.

The chorale is joined by Pacific Symphony.

“We are delighted to partner with PBS SoCal and KCET to present this remarkable film to audiences across the Southland. It’s particularly meaningful that the film will air in December, when families gather together for the holidays,” said Andrew Brown, the President and CEO of Pacific Chorale, in an official press statement.
