Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia Manager to Step Down

The Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia has announced that Andrés Lacasa is stepping down from his position as Manager.

Lacasa will step down on March 1, hoping there will be enough time for a smooth transition.

In a statement, he said, “You never know when these moments will come but now I want to open a new stage. The Consortium has given me a lot, 13 fantastic years, and I stay with every worker I have met.”

This season, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia will feature soloists Joan Ibáñez, Nikola Hillebrand, Raquel Lojendio, Ian Bostridge, and Pacho Flores.
