Teatro dell’Opera di Roma to Present Easter Concerts

By Francisco Salazar

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma is set to offer Easter concerts on March 26 and 28, 2026.

The concerts which were also held on March 19 and 22 are supported by the Assessorato ai Grandi Eventi, Sport, Turismo and Moda di Roma Capitale.

The final two concerts will be held at the Chiesa di San Romano Martire (Pietralata) on March 26 and Chiesa di San Giovanni della Croce (Colle Salario) on March 28.

The final two concerts will showcase the Coro del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma under Ciro Visco.

In a statement superintendent Francesco Giambrone said, “With the Easter Concerts, we want to renew the bond between our Theater and the city, focusing on highlighting the great choral repertoire during the Easter holidays, thanks to the presence of the Rome Opera Choir, directed by Maestro Ciro Visco, and the School of Choral Singing. A plurality of voices forming a community is, by its very nature, an experience of participation and sharing: bringing sacred music programs to the area’s spiritual sites—with the valuable support of the Department of Major Events—means engaging the audience in a collective moment where music becomes a common language, an opportunity for encounter, and a tool for spreading beauty throughout the city’s urban fabric.”
