The Oregon Symphony has announced that Clement So will be its new Vice President for Programming.

In his role, So, who previously worked as Director of Artistic Planning for the San Diego Symphony, will oversee the organization’s overall programming, including subscription series, special concerts, presentations, education programs, and engagement initiatives. He will work together with Music Director David Danzmayr to create a unified vision for the Symphony on and off stage.

“I am honored to join the team at the Oregon Symphony and eager to work with David Danzmayr to develop programming that will inspire and challenge our audiences,” So said in an official press statement. “It is a delight to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.”

Clement So also worked as Artistic Administrator of New York’s 92nd Street Y and has a Bachelor of Arts in Music History from Yale University.
