
Perelman Performing Arts Center Unveils 2026-27 Season

The Perelman Performing Arts Center announces its 2026-27 lineup.
This article only features classical vocal concerts.
First up is the song cycle, “The Puerto Rico Experiment” by Angélica Négron with Balún and Roomful of Teeth. This is a Democracy Cycle world premiere song cycle commission.
Performance Dates: January 16-23, 2027
Timothy Long presents the “North American Indigenous Songbook,” an initiative dedicated to commissioning, performing, and championing new works by Indigenous composers across the United States and Canada. This performance features Marion Newman, R. Carlos Nakai, and Martha Redbone Roots Project, and other commissioned compositions from Native American, First Nations, and Métis composers.
Performance Date: January 29, 2027
“VOX” is presented in collaboration with the American Composers Orchestra, Beth Morrison Projects, Manhattan School of Music, Mannes School of Music, MasterVoices, and The Metropolitan Opera. The book-in-hand concert features 20 to 30-minute excerpts from select operas.
