OperaVision has unveiled its May 2026 programming.

First up on the slate was Opéra National du Rhin’s “Le Roi d’Ys.” The recording from March 2026 stars Patrick Bollieire, Anaïk Morel, Lauranne Oliva, Julien Henric, and Jean-Kristof Bouton. Samy Rachid conducts Oliver Py’s production.

Streaming Dates: May 8, 2026 – Nov. 8, 2026

Next up is La Monnaie / De Munt’s “Medusa.” The Iain Bell opera stars Claudia Boyle, Paula Murrihy, Angela Denoke, Josh Lovell, Konstantin Gorny, and Mary Elizabeth Williams. Lydia Steier directs and Michiel Delanghe conducts.

Streaming Dates: May 15, 2026 – Nov. 15, 2026

Then comes a live stream from the Hungarian State Opera of “Così fan tutte” starring Ildikó Megyimórecz, Zsófia Kálnay, Boton Pál, Attila Dobák, Zsuzsanna Kapi, and István Kovács. Levente Török conducts and Kriszta Székely directs.

The final new stream of the month is Lithuanian National Opera & Ballet’s “I Lituani” by Ponchielli. Recorded in January 2026, the opera stars Viktorija Miškūnaitė, Tadas Girininkas, Eugenijus Chrebtovas, Gaston Rivero, and Alfredas Miniotas. Hugo De Ana directs and Ričardas Šumila conducts.
