Opera Zuid is set to kick off its tour of “Lady in the Dark” starting on Nov. 12, 2022.

The “Broadway opera” by Kurt Weill will be presented in co-production by Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, in collaboration with philharmonie zuidnederland. It will be supported by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music.

The opera will be conducted by David Stern and directed by Anna Pool. Sylvia Poorta, Maartje Rammeloo, Elliott Carlton Hiines, Simon Butteriss, Quirjin de Lang, Jeremy Finch White, Veerle Sanders, Nienke Nasserian, and Dreya Weber star in the work.

Performances kick off on Nov. 12 at Masstricht followed by nine additional performances at Utrecht, Eindhoven, Luxembourg, Heerlen, and Breda, among others. The final showcase is scheduled for Dec. 11, at the Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht.
