Opera Orlando has announced an encore streaming presentation of Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel” set for Friday, March 5, 2021.

The opera stars Kyaunnee Richardson, Gloria Palermo, and Robyn Rocklein.

This production features musicians from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and is filmed at the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Entries in the “Encore!” series will be available for streaming for two weeks after their premiere.

This is the second time that the company presents the production as part of its “Encore!” series. “Hansel and Gretel,” was originally streamed on Feb. 12, 2021; the live performances took place between Jan. 29-31, 2021.

Next up for Opera Orlando is a production of “Carmen,” starring Briana Hunter, Noah Stewart, Norman Garrett, and Brittany Renee, among many others.
