Opera Naples Finds Success At Annual Benefit
By Francisco SalazarOpera Naples raised more than $445,000 at Opera in the Garden at its annual benefit held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Naples Botanical Garden.
The funds that were raised at the benefit will support all of Opera Naples’ performances, education, and community outreach programs.
The benefit saw more than 200 people in attendance and it included a performance of sunset arias sung by members of the Opera Naples Resident Artist Program.
“The success of this event will support Opera Naples as we continue our mission to bring exceptional world-class opera to Southwest Florida,” says Opera Naples Benefit Committee Chairman and Board Director, Richard Gray.
Opera Naples continues its season with its Renata Scotto Academy and a production of Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro.” The company will also invite the Beaux Arts Trio for a special evening of chamber music.
