Ópera Latinoamérica’s 2026 Conference to Be Held in Peru

Ópera Latinoamérica has announced that it will hold its next 2026 conference in Lima, Peru.

The organization said that the conference will be held from June 16 to 19, 2026, at the Teatro Municipal de Lima.

The 2025 conference was recently held at the Palau de Les Artes Reina Sofía de Valencia, Spain and saw theatres, festivals, and companies associated with Ópera Latinoamérica, along with invited guests and organizations from the creative industries of Ibero-America, gather to engage in dialogue and reflect on the present and future of institutions.

Ópera Latinoamérica is a network that brings together theaters, companies and festivals from Latin America and the Caribbean and was founded in Chile in 2007. The non-profit association is made up of more than 40 organizations, companies, festivals and theaters and promotes the classical performing arts in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
