Executive director of the Latin American Opera Assembly, Paulina Ricciardi said in a press release, “The 18th OLA Conference will be an opportunity to discuss and reflect on the role our organizations play in today’s society, this time focusing on artistic programming and the sustainable development of theaters, festivals, and companies. We will also include an internal focus on adapting to current challenges, such as female leadership and the professional development of those working in the performing arts. Finally, this meeting also reflects the current state of the organization, in which we are seeking to strengthen what has already been built and foster collaboration, exchange, and co-production, both among network members and with other partner institutions.”
