Ópera de Tenerife to Present New Production of ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’

Ópera de Tenerife is set to present Gluck’s “Orfeo ed Euridice” in a production by Mal Pelo company.

The production will be directed by Pep Ramis and María Muñoz with a cast that includes Teresa Iervolino, Ana Vieira Leite, and Mira Alkhovik.

The opera will be presented at the Sala Sinfónica del Auditorio de Tenerife on Jan. 22 and 23, 2026.

In a statement, José Carlos Acha said, “This opera, a production of the Auditorio de Tenerife, brings the Greek myth, well known to everyone, to the stage but with a contemporary vision, that is, an opera spectacle in all its splendor.”
