Closing out the 2025 Opera Aperta International Festival is Verdi’s “La Traviata.”

Diana Alexe takes on the role of Violetta, beside Eusebiu Huțan as Alfredo. The cast is rounded out by Alexandra Leșiu, Oana Trîmbițaș, Geani Brad, Florin Pop, Cristian Hodrea, Bogdan Nistor, Petre Burcă, Iosiah Balteș, Varga János, and Cristina Tureanu. Directors include Nadine Duffaut and Iulian Dumitraș.

They are joined by the Orchestra, Choir and Ballet Ensemble of the Romanian National Opera Cluj-Napoca. David Crescenzi conducts.

Other highlights of the Festival include Verdi’s “Macbeth,” a French music gala, and the “Puccini Gala” with members of the Iași National Opera.

“La Traviata” will take place on June 29, at 8:30 p.m. local time. The performance will take place Unirii Square open-air theatre.
