Mezzo-soprano Olesya Petrova has joined the roster of Tact Artist Management.

Petrova recently received acclaim for her performances as Madame Ulrica Arvidsson in “Un Ballo in Maschera” at the Metropolitan Opera with OperaWire noting, ” Petrova opened her aria with a menacing tone as she dug into the lowest notes of her chest voice.” She also sang the role at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Teatro de la Maestranza.

She has also been acclaimed for her interpretation as Amneris in “Aida” at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, and Arena di Verona.

This summer, she performs with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and returns to the Metropolitan Opera in November for “Il Trovatore.” She also sings the title role of “Carmen” at the Mumbai Opera.
