Odesa Opera Production Workshops Severely Damaged by Russian Attack

Russian Missile Attacks have damaged parts of the Odesa Opera’s workshops.

According to reports, the production workshops of Odesa Opera and about 30 cultural heritage monuments were damaged as a result of a night attack by Russia on August 14.

According to the reports approximately 10 blocks of historical buildings in the Central Historical Area of Odesa and 30 cultural heritage monuments were damaged. The production buildings of the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre were damaged.

Documents are currently being prepared to open criminal proceedings and register the relevant information in the URPI.

The company continues to perform and is set to showcase productions of “Il Trovatore,” “Turandot,” and “Kateryna” in the coming weeks.
