Cecilia Duarte, Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, Erica Schuller, Camille Ortiz, Nola Richardson Headline Ars Lyrica Houston’s 2024-25 Season

Ars Lyrica Houston has unveiled its 2024-25 season.

First up is “In Praise of Virtue” starring Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen and Hannah DePriest. The program features works by Händel, Bach, and Hasse, as well as a Concerto by Telemann.

Performance Date: Sept. 20, 2024

Next up is Monteverdi’s “Madrigals of Love and War” featuring such vocal soloists as Erica Schuller, Amia Langer, Michael Skarke, Steven Brennflek, Thomas O’Neill, and Enrico Lagasca.

Performance Date: Nov. 8, 2024

Camille Ortiz and Cecilia Duarte headline “Crossing Borders,” which features music by Sebastián Duón, Juan del Encina, and Domenico Scarlatti.

Performance Date: Dec. 17, 2024

In early 2025, the company will present Händel’s “Theodora” featuring Nola Richardson, Cecilia Duarte, Douglas Williams, Cody Bowers, and Brian Giebler.

Performance Date: March 29, 2025
