By David Salazar

San Francisco Performances will present its annual “Gift Concert” on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Herbst Theatre.

The showcase will feature mezzo-soprano Nikola Printz, pianist Terrence Wilson, and the Catalyst Quartet as they take on such works as Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s “Fantasiestücke for String Quartet,” Op. 5; Libby Larsen’s “Sorrow Song” and “Jubilee;” an arrangement of Dvořák’s “Goin’ Home” from the New World Symphony by Noah Luna; and Elgar’s “Sea Pictures,” Op. 37, arranged by Donald Fraser.

Printz, a Bay Area-based artist and recipient of a 2025 Richard Tucker Career Grant, made their London debut in autumn 2025 performing the work at the Royal Festival Hall under Marin Alsop. Current season highlights include Jake Heggie’s “Dead Man Walking” with San Francisco Opera, a debut at Opéra de Lille in Philip Glass’ “Les Enfants Terribles,” and a title role debut as Händel’s “Alcina” with Festival Opera.

The showcase kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time.
