New Camerata Opera to Present Joseph Bologne’s ‘L’Amant Anonyme’ in New York This June

New Camerata Opera will present Joseph Bologne’s “L’amant anonyme” at the Rose Nagelberg Theatre at Baruch Performing Arts Center in New York City, with four performances running June 18 through June 21, 2026.

The production, set in 1960s television studio will be directed by Brandon Shaw McKnight with music direction by Kelly Lam.

The cast, which is double cast, features Lynnesha Crump and Alexandria Crichlow sharing the role of Léontine; Victor Khodadad and Gabriel Hernandez alternating as Valcour; Markel Reed and Eric Viñas interpreting the role of Ophémon; Brittany Hebel and Jaclyn Randazzo appearing as Jeannette, and Caleb Alexander and Christian Patterson in the role of Colin.

Performances are scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at 8 p.m., Friday, June 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, June 20 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, June 21 at 4 p.m.
