On Thursday, May 6, and Saturday, May 8, 2021, New Camerata Opera (NCO) will present “The Brooklyn Job,” a “virtual museum heist” written and directed by New York comedian Sarah Morgan Ashey.

This work will feature an extensive repertoire performed by a cast of 10 singers who will be directed by Dan Franklin Smith.

The cast includes sopranos Samina Aslam and Barbara Porto; mezzo-sopranos Eva Parr, Julia Tang, and Anna Tonna; tenors Erik Bagger and Victor Khodadad; baritones Stan Lacy and Scott Lindroth; and bass Kofi Hayford.

The performances were recorded, mixed, and mastered by Derek Box and the on-site takes are filmed and edited by Erik Bagger.

This is the latest project from the company in the 2020-21 season. New Camerata Opera previously released “Masquerade” this fall as well as “Sleuth Salon.”
