
Nevill Holt Festival Adds Performance of ‘Don Pasquale,’ Announces Cast & Creative Team
By David SalazarNevill Holt Festival has announced the cast and creative team for its 2026 production of Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale,” presented in partnership with Opera North.
Australian-British baritone Grant Doyle takes the title role, with soprano Harriet Eyley as Norina, tenor Aaron Godfrey-Mayes as Ernesto, and baritone Henry Neill as Dr. Malatesta. Ross McInroy, a member of the Opera North Chorus, completes the cast.
Michael Papadopoulos conducts, with direction by James Hurley and designs by Elliott Squire.
“Bringing together a cast of this calibre for Don Pasquale is tremendously exciting for us,” said Festival founder David Ross, per an official press release. “These are artists of exceptional musical and dramatic flair, and in the intimacy of Nevill Holt, audiences can experience every sparkle of Donizetti’s wit.”
The company also revealed that a fifth performance has been added to the run following exceptional demand. Performances will now take place May 29, May 31, June 3, June 5, and June 7, 2026 at Nevill Holt.
