
Nevill Holt Festival to Present ‘Don Pasquale’ For First Time in Over 35 Years
By David SalazarNevill Holt Festival has announced that Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” will be its opera production for 2026.
The work, presented in partnership with Opera North, will get four performances on May 29 and 31 and June 5 and 7, 2026, at the Festival’s Leicestershire venue.
“Don Pasquale” returns to Opera North after more than 35 years.
“’Don Pasquale’ represents everything we love about our partnership with Opera North: exceptional artistry, sparkling comedy, and a wonderful opportunity for emerging artists to shine. Donizetti’s wit and Nevill Holt’s intimacy create something truly special, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences in 2026,” said David Ross, founder of the Nevill Holt Festival, per an official press release.
Further details of the wider 2026 Festival program will be announced in January.
