The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2025-26 Season. Here is a look at the vocal highlights.

Kazuki Yamada conducts Elgar’s “The Dream of Gerontius” with soloists Jess Dandy, Roderick Williams and David Butt Philip.

Performance Date: Sept. 17, 2025


Osmo Vanka conducts a program of Sibelius and Shostakovich. Helena Juntunen is the soloist.

Performance Date: Nov. 19, 2025


Michael Seal conducts music by A.R. Rahman, Cassie Kinoshi, Roxana Panufnik, and Joan Armatrading. The CBSO Youth Chorus and Chorus perform in the concert.

Performance Date: Dec. 7, 2025


Michael Seal conducts a Choral Christmas with the CBSO Chorus, Youth Chorus, and Children’s Chorus.

Jennifer France performs music by Johann Strauss during the New Year’s concert. Nil Venditti conducts.
