Nadine Sierra has canceled her concert at the Festival de Torroella.

The festival announced that the August 15 concert was canceled due to health reasons.

According to a press release, Sierra has been diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection and on medical advice, must rest her voice until her symptoms improve, which makes it impossible for her to perform at the Festival.

As result, audiences will get their tickets refunded.

Sierra was set to perform alongside Byran Wagorn in a program that included music by Mozart, Puccini, Gounod, Rodrigo, an Mendoza y Cortés.

The soprano returns to the stage on August 21 for a concert with Xabier Anduaga.
