
Modus Operandi Orchestra Presents ‘Celebrating America at 250’
By Afton MarkayModus Operandi Orchestra (MOO) is set to perform “Celebrating America at 250” at Merkin Hall in New York City.
The concert will feature works by Copland, Barber, Montgomery, and Dvořák. Soprano Katherine Whyte will be the soloist for Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915.” MOO’s founder and music director, Justin Bischof conducts.
Modus Operandi Orchestra regularly presents symphonic, operatic, and choral repertoire throughout New York. The orchestra is made up of freelance musicians, as well as the MOO Singers.
This concert will take place on Nov. 19 at 6:30 pm.
