The Mizmorim Chamber Music Festival in Basel announces its 2026 lineup.

Soprano Hila Baggio performs a new work by composer and bandoneon player Marcelo Nisinman, with  harpsichordist Francesco Corti, flutist Ariel Zuckermann, and violinist Ilya Gringolts.

Performance Date: January 23, 2026

Next up is a concert featuring Zion tamati’s “Arrangement for mixed choir,” Stefan Wolpe’s “Samachti be’omrim li” (Psalm 122) from “Four Pieces for Mixed Chorus,” and Menachem Wiesenberg’s mized choral arrangement of  “If I Forget Thee.” The Vokalensemble Voces Suaves also presents Taiseer Elias’s “Oud.”

Performance Date: January 24, 2026

The final concert with vocal works showcases works by George Rochberg, Josef Tal, Paul Ben-Haim, and  Stefan Wolpe. Also on this concert mezzo-soprano Xenia Lemberski performs a piece by Felix Kehr.
