
Michał Sławecki to Make Münchner Philharmoniker Debut
By Francisco SalazarCountertenor Michał Sławecki will make his debut with the Münchner Philharmoniker under conductor Krzysztof Urbanski on April 30 & May 1, 2025.
The concert program will open with “Krzesany,” a symphonic poem by Wojciech Kilar, then the pianist Jan Lisiecki will perform two pieces by Chopin.
The second part will be focused on Symphony No. 3 “of Sorrowful Songs” by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, with Sławecki performing the solos alongside sopranos Edyta Krzemień and Anna Federowicz.
Sławecki is a Polish countertenor who has performed with the Castle Opera, Silesian Opera in Bytom, the Horse-Sailor at the Grand Theatre in Łódź, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, Tête à Tête Opera Festival, and La Biennale di Venezia.
