Metro Opera Tech to Inaugurate Company

Metro Opera Tech is set to open its doors on Nov. 3 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater.

The opera company is the newest in New York City. The company’s orchestra is comprised of professors, many of whom are regularly active with esteemed ensembles like the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the New York State Symphony, united under the Metro Opera Tech Orchestra.

For its opening night, the company will present “Enchanting Evening of Baroque Brilliance” with Daniel Moody, Danielle Walker, Chelsea Shephard, and Andrew Richardson. Conductor Stefano Miceli will lead the evening which will include music by Handel, Rameau, Vivaldi, Purcell, and Bach.
