Measha Brueggergosman-Lee to Headline Parlando’s ‘The Cabaret Project, Part II’

Soprano Measha Brueggergosman-Lee will headline the final concert of Parlando’s 2025-26 season.

The soprano will appear in “The Cabaret Project, Part II” on April 22, 2025, performing “Strange Fruit” by Abel Meeropol as well as “Zombie Blizzard” by Aaron Davis and Margaret Atwood; Brueggergosman-Lee has championed “Zombie Blizzard” at National Sawdust and Opera Atelier this past season. An album of the same name was released on March 1, 2024.

Brueggergosman-Lee also performed in Parlando’s “The Cabaret Project, Part I” back on May 1, in a program featuring works by Satie, Schreker, and Bolcom.

Brueggergosman-Lee has presented concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Wigmore Hall, Konzerthaus, Musikverein, and Madrid’s Teatro Real. She has performed at festivals held in Schwarzenberg, Edinburgh, Verbier, and Bergen with collaborative pianists Justus Zeyen, Roger Vignoles, Julius Drake, and Simon Lepper.

The program also features works by Ernst Krenek and Hanns Eisler.
