The Bayreuth Baroque has announced its 2025 season.

Francesco Cavalli’s “Pompeo Magno” is set to be presented with Leonardo García Alarcón conducting and Max Emanuel Cencic directing. The opera will star Max Emanuel Cencic, Mariana Florès, Valerio Contaldo, Artur Plinta, Nicolò Balducci, Sophie Junker, Victor Sicard, Pierre-Antoine Chaumien, Valer Sabadus Scipione, Stefan Sbonnik, Dominique Visse, Kacper Szelążek, and Marcel Beekman.

Performance Dates: Sept. 4-14, 2025

Carlo Vistoli performs works by Cavalli, Cesti, Monteverdi, and Stradella. Leonardo García Alarcón conducts the Cappella Mediterranea Orchestra in Residence of the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival 2025.

Rémy Brès-Feuillet performs a concert entitled “The Count of Monte-Cristo” alongside Gerd Amelung and I Porporini.
