Matteo Roma, Maria Mudryak, José Maria Lo Monaco, Giacomo Medici Star in Teatro Pergolesi’s 2025 Season

Teatro Pergolesi announces its 2025 season. This article only features operatic performances.

The season opens with Paul-Émile Fourny’s new production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.” Christian Federici, Maria Mudryak, Louise Guenter, Valerio Borgioni, Stefano Marchisio, Gianluca Failla, Eleonora Boaretto, and Luca Dall’Amico make up the cast. They are joined by the Ventidio Basso Choir from Ascoli Piceno. This production features set designer Benito Leonori , costume designer Giovanna Fiorentini, and lighting designer Patrick Méeüs. Time Machine Ensemble is conducted by Arthur Fagen.

Performance Dates: October 17 – 19, 2025


Pergolesi’s “L’olimpiade” is up next. José Maria Lo Monaco, Silvia Frigato, Anicio Zorzi Giustinaini, Carlotta Colombo, Theodora Raftis, Matteo Straffi, and Francesca Ascioti perform. The new production features sets and costumes by Bruno Antonetti and Giulia Negrin, and is directed by Fabio Ceresa. Giulio Prandi conducts the Ghislieri Orchestra.

Performance Dates: November 19 – 21, 2025


The world premiere of “Il giudizio di Paride. Processo a un deicida” by Paolo Marchettini and Fabio Ceresa is performed by Laura Stella, Gaia Cardinale, Elena Antonini, Benedetta Mazzetto, and Mattia Fiocco. Gianluca Martinenghi conducts the Time Machine Ensemble.

Performance Dates: November 27 – 30, 2025


Puccini’s “La bohème” stars Elisa Verzier, Matteo Roma, Daniele Terenzi, Giulia Mazzola, Eugenio di Lieto, and Giacomo Medici. The Coro Lirico Marchigiano “V. Bellini” and the Pueri Cantores “Domenichino Zamberletti” make up the chorus. Paul-Émile Fourny directs and Jacopo Rivani conducts the FORM Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigian.
