On March 17, 2021, MassOpera will present the fourth set of concerts in its Social DistanSing series.

The concert will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at various elderly and low-income housing facilities in the Boston area, including South Boston and Dorchester. The concert will feature sopranos Kristin Fahning and Marsé Alaundra, who will sing a variety of repertoire.

MassOpera will go live at every location via Facebook Live, in order for the company’s audience to also be able to experience the performances with them.

MassOpera kicked off the Social DistanSing series in July of 2020 and has performed in multiple housing complexes in the Boston and Greater Boston areas, with individual singers appearing from the bed of a truck. It has also performed for other holidays including Valentine’s Day.
