Mariusz Kwiecień to Perform in Prague in June 2024

The Association of Friends of Musical Talents has announced that it will be presenting a concert featuring baritone Mariusz Kwiecień in Prague.

The event, scheduled for June 18, 2024, will feature the Polish artist in concert with such artists as Zuzana Marková and Arnheidur Eiríksdóttir. Other performers on the program include Daniel Matoušek, Emma Balunová, and Ivan Lyvch. They are joined by the PKF-Prague Philharmonia under Alena Hron.

Recognized for his international career that saw him perform with such organizations as the Metropolitan Opera,  Lyric Chicago of Opera, Royal Opera House, Bayerische Staatsoper, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro Real, Opéra National de Paris, this will be the third time that Kwiecień performs in Prague. He previously appeared there in 2010, 2013, and 2016.

Following the end of his performance career in 2020, Kwiecień was artistic director of the Wroclaw Opera between 2020-23. He is also a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Kraków and has been granted the position of professor.
