Marin Alsop to Lead ‘Festival of Voices’ with Choral Arts Society of Washington

The Choral Arts Society of Washington is set to present “Festival of Voices” on Nov. 8, 2023.

The showcase, which will honor the work of such composers as Walton and Roxana Panufnik will be presented in collaboration with the British Embassy Washington.

“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the British Embassy Washington and present this celebration of British composers showcasing their extraordinary contributions to the world of music,” said Tad Czyzewski, Choral Arts, Executive Director, in an official press statement. “With the immense talent of Marin Alsop at the helm and the shimmering voices of the Symphonic Chorus, we are confident this year’s event will be a night to remember.”

The event will be led by conductor Marin Alsop, who will perform alongside the Symphonic Chorus and Choral Arts Orchestra.

“Festival of Songs” starts at 7:30 p.m. at The Kennedy Center Concert Hall.
