Cecilia Violetta López & Andrew Bidlack to Headline Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra’s ‘West Side Story’

The Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra will present a fully staged production of “West Side Story” on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

The production is led by Music Director Julian Kuerti, with stage direction by Chía Patiño and choreography by Erin Moore.

The 31-person cast will be headlined by tenor Andrew Bidlack as Tony and soprano Cecilia Violetta López as Maria. Other cast members include Ben Horsburgh, Danielle Castoria, Emiliano Morales, Owen Smith, Riley Bannister, Caden Lohr, Quintin Steers, Michael Vasilevich, Kevyn Roessler, Luke Riza, Marryn Barney, Alexandra Ambres, Anna Cafagna, Kayla Wiese, Morgan Bodie, Leandro Ocampo, Alex Osborne, Chris Reed, Brandon Wolfington, and Cayla Nichole Harris, among others.

The showcase kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Miller Auditorium.
