Baritone Lucas Meachem and pianist Irina Meachem will perform a recital on Monday, March 16, which will be live streamed in collaboration with The Dallas Opera.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m. CDT and features American Art Songs on the theme of resilience in addition to music from Verdi’s “Don Carlo.”

“During this time of isolation, we crave to connect more than ever. As a musician, our artistic light doesn’t suddenly extinguish in the wake of a lockdown,” Meachem posted on social media. “Therefore, I want to invite you to my Live Stream Recital (Facebook & Instagram) tomorrow, Monday March 16th at 1:00pm CT for a moment of hope and inspiration. My wife Irina and I will perform American Art Songs on the theme of resilience and Rodrigo’s aria from Don Carlo. I hope you join me.”

Meachem was in Dallas set to perform in a run of performances of “Don Carlo.”
