
Klangvokal Music Festival Dortmund Unveils 2026 Season Featuring Pene Pati, Varduhi Abrahamyan & Daniel Behle

Klangvokal Music Festival Dortmund announces its 2026 season.
The season opens with Jean-Philippe Rameau’s “Les Boréades.” Reinoud Van Mechelen, Gwendoline Blondeel, Lisandro Abadie, Tomáš Král, Robert Getchell, Philippe Estèphe, and Lore Binon make up the cast. The Belgian period ensemble a nocte temporis acommpanies.

Tenor Pene Pati presents the concert, “Neapolitan Canzoni” with Il Pomo d’Oro.

Haydn’s “Die Jahreszeiten” is presented by soloists Karolina Bengtsson, Daniel Behle, and Manuel Walser. They are joined by the Dortmunder Bachchor and Neue Philharmonie Westfalen under the baton of Christian Drengk.
Performance Date: May 30, 2026
Donizetti’s “La favorite” stars Varduhi Abrahamyan, Kang Wang, Germán Enrique Alcántara, Bogdan Talos, and Suzanne Jerosme. They are joined by the WDR Rundfunkchor and the WDR Funkhausorchester under the baton of Antonino Fogliani.

As part of the 2026/27 KLANGVOKAL Concert Season, Henry Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” is performed by Carine Tinney, Jacob Lawrence, and Vox Luminis. Lionel Meunier conducts.
