
Nino Machaidze, Piotr Buszewski & Sydney Baedke Lead Orchestre Philharmonique et Cheour des Mélomanes’ 2026-27 Season
By Francisco SalazarThe Orchestre Philharmonique et Chœur des Mélomanes (OPCM) has announced its 2026-27 season celebrating its 12th year with the theme of Romanticism. Under the direction of its conductor, artistic director and founder, Francis Choinière, the ensemble will present at the Maison symphonique de Montréal some of the most remarkable masterpieces in music history.
The season opens with Mendelssohn Violin Concerto and Brahms’ A German Requiem. Soloists include Guillaume Villeneuve, Aline Kutan, and Geoffroy Salvas.
Performance Date: Dec. 12, 2026
Nino Machaidze, Piotr Buszewski, and Gregory Dahl star in Verdi’s “La Traviata” alongside Alex Halliday, Ariane Cossette, Simona Genga, Sam Champagne, and Geoffrey Schellenberg.
Performance Dates: Jan. 29 & 30, 2027
Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 & The Bells will include Alain Lefèvre, Sydney Baedke, Sam Champagne, and Mikelis Rogers.
Performance Date: May 8, 2027
